- Gentle moisturizing cleanser Review by Shirley

I really liked this Madara cleanser. It had a clean and natural smell to it, came in an easy to use dispenser bottle and had a nice creamy feel to it. I have very dry skin so I am careful not to use any cleansers that will further dry out my skin. The Madara Delicate Cleansing milk was strong enough to remove my makeup and yet leave my skin clean and soft .You can use it with or without water but I always prefer to use water when cleansing my face. I am impressed at how soft my skin feels after cleansing with Madara not dry and tight like some other cleansers I've used in the past. This is a great cleanser and it's natural and organic too! After watching Lisa Eldridge's video of makeup removal, I got really into cleansing milks, cream cleansers, cleansing balms, etc. A lot of the ones I've tried usually had very strong fragrances, or left some kind of unpleasant film/residue that would not wash off. This cleansing milk from Madara is very gentle and does not leave any kind of residue. I pump a good amount onto my hands and massage it onto dry face (with makeup on) until the cream gets a good amount of makeup off. Then I wipe all of the dirty cream with a damp muslin cloth, and it really does remove makeup. I love oil cleansing with olive oil or coconut oil, but pure oils do not wash away with water, so it requires using a second cleanser, whereas this cleansing milk removes all of my makeup, and wipes and rinses easily with one step. The only reason why I took off one star is because whenever this gets closer to my eyes, they start to burn just a little bit, so it wasn't suitable to remove eye makeup for me personally, but it might be because I have sensitive eyes.
