While traveling in the Amazon region, Fabian had noticed the native women’s hair’s luster and strength. Upon learning that they nourished their hair with a serum extracted from the Rahua nut, Fabian brought small quantities back to The States and began crafting an initial treatment for his salon in New York City.

Ok so I can truely say I have tried so many different hair products and have never been as happy as I am with this one!! I have very curly hair that is very hard to manage and it is also color treated. This worked wonders and left my hair managable and very, very soft!! I love it!! Oooo..It takes a lot to pry me away from my John Masters Organics shampoo and conditioner!! But.... I have just finished a bottle of Rahua shampoo ( and the Conditioner too) and its GORGEOUS! Its very delicately fragranced and a little goes quite a long way ( I have collar length, very fine hair) but WOW what a shine I have! I color my hair with henna sometimes and it can look a little dull - but Rahua didn't fade my color - it made my hair super glossy and really shiny. It did take about a week to start seeing results ( and I do wash my hair every day although I know I shouldn't!) I still love my JMO but I will definitely use Rahua too. (Posted on 5/16/11)Rating
