I liked this hand/body butter so much I made to to give it 5 stars on my personal blogging website. I received a sample of the John Masters Blood Orange & Vanilla Body Milk a few months back, and thought that was the best lotion ever, not only for the aroma, but the moisturizing properties. Now after trying this body butter with the Cacao & Capuacu, I've become even more a fan of John Masters and their products. I never had a problem of dry hands before, but now that it's Fall and getting closer to Winter, my hands have been in need of moisture. This body butter not only smells absolutely delicious, but also restores the moisture. At first it's a bit difficult to get out of the tube, and it indicates that this may happen on the back of the bottle, I don't know if it's because it's been really cold lately where I live that is causing it to solidify/thicken more than normal, but if it is difficult to get out, I simply run it under some warm water and then the product becomes easier to get out, and a little goes a long way. Definitely a body butter worth recommending. (Posted on 12/29/11)Rating - Super moisturizing Review by Aerial

First of all, when I think of a body butter, I think of a really thick lotion, so this product really surprised me in that it's more like a balm. It has a very thick, pasty consistency when it comes out of the tube. As a massage therapist, I've worked with products like this before though, so I just warmed it up between my hands before applying and it really does melt like butter and goes on smooth as silk. If you just try to apply it directly before melting it with your hands it doesn't spread well at all. It's thick and rich and has a wonderful scent. Normally my legs looks scaly by the end of the day no matter how much lotion I put on, but I still look like I just slathered on lotion when I hop into bed at night.Rating
I give it 4 stars out of 5 just because I think the price is a little high. It will probably last me two months but for me $16 a month is too high. (Posted on 12/19/11) - Nurturing!! Review by Sonia

So when I first saw this product I thought, hmmm, this is a small tube for the price. Once I used this, I realized that this is actually alot of product. This has the consistancy of Vaseline. Very thick. A small amount goes a very long way and I mean less that a pea size. I use it on my elbows, knees , cuticles and feet! It's wonderful after a shower to slather it on your feet and put on some soft socks. In the morning your feet are baby soft. Smells wonderful, like cocoa butter which reminds me of when I was a child and my grandmother would put cocoa butter on my eczema to help heal it. My husband is also using it on his hard working hands and surgery scars. It seems to be helping them fade wonderfully. He also loves the smell cause he's a chocolate freak!! Great source of Omega fatty acids from the Crandberry and Broccoli oils for the skin. (Posted on 12/12/11)Rating - Very thick, much prefer John Master's Body Milk Review by Hyen Jee

This is a good product, but I do not think it is worth $32, considering it is only 4 ounces. I had a hard time trying to squeeze the body butter out of the tube because the "butter" is like a hard balm. It's very thick, and it strongly reminds me of raw cocoa butter, which is the second ingredient in this anyway. It smells exactly like cocoa butter too, which is delicious and I wish the smell lingered around more.Rating
I found myself tugging at my skin when applying this since it is very thick, and even on freshly showered, damp skin, it was kind of difficult to spread evenly. While this is not a bad product, I definitely prefer John Masters' Blood Orange & Vanilla Body Milk, which has a lovely smell that lingers around for a while, and a great consistency at a better price. The Body Milk absorbs quickly and has a very fluid, moist consistency whereas this body butter is very thick and balm-y, and I personally feel like the body milk moisturizes my body more.
