Fine looking, Weird Feeling Review by Kara
Rating
I'm a fan of pretty pretty pinks. Mostly I wear vapour's multi-use blush in Crush on my lips, cheeks and eyelids, or burts bees lip shimmer in Champagne. For the most part, I gave up lipgloss after highschool. I'm twitchy with my mouth, always pressing my lips together or biting on them, and always biting my nails, so I would end up eating the gloss or getting it all over my fingers and having to reapply too often. I tend towards stains and tints now.

I got this lipgloss in antique rose, but I wish I got the blackberry. The colour is fine. It's not a pretty pink, more like a dull pink, closer to my natural lip colour. There are a bit of sparkles in in, but it doesn't pretty brighten it up. It isn't one of those super thick, super glassy looking glosses, which is fine, but I have lip chap tints that look almost as glossy and are even less thick.

My biggest problem with this lip gloss though is the feeling and taste. Somehow it feels and tastes more chemically than actual chemical make up. It's not quite a tingling or burning feeling, but something in that realm of making my lips feel like there is a ingredient in it that my skin reacts to. Of course it goes immediately in my mouth - it tastes like something that shouldn't be on my mouth and somehow spreads all over my teeth and it feels like there is a film over them.

I can't think of a lip gloss I've liked as little as this one. Keep in mind though that I'm not the biggest lip gloss wearer and that I suppose I have constant oral fixation, so that will influence my experience. (Posted on 11/17/11)
