- Great highlighter, strange plum Review by Dylan
-
I'm a fan of highlighters. I use them daily in the corner of my eyes, under the brow, in a line down my nose, tops of cheek bones, on my cupid's bow - just everywhere I can. I usually use RMS living luminizer, which is amazing and great, but because it's so oily, I find it doesn't have the greatest staying power, and fold into the creases of my eyes. This white eyeliner/highlighter is great for something a less glossy. It can be used as white eyeliner, because it's potent in it's colour, and because it is in pencil form, you can get it places more precisely, like how I use it under line of my eyes to open them up, or even to line the outside of my lips to make them seem poutier. It is pretty creamy and very blendable so I've even used it as to cover my whole eyelid. It's great and stays for a long time. I really love it.Rating
The plum, on the other hand, is barely used in comparison. The colour is a little strange. It isn't as purple as I thought it would be; when I put it on, it looks like a cross between grey and brown more than anything else. Sometimes I use it on the insides of my lash line, but I still find it strange to use something where I can't really make out what colour it's supposed to be. When I make a really thick line, it's a bit better, but if I'm going for a dramatic thick line, I usually just go for black. I think it's worth it though, just for the amount that I use and love the white pencil.
To sum up, white=amazing, plum=strange (Posted on 11/17/11)
