I use this both as a toner/hydrator for a pick-me-up as well as for makeup application. After I swirl my kabuki brush in mineral makeup, I spritz the brush with this mist before applying. It helps create a soft finish, without the mineral makeup looking cakey. The only reason I took away a star was it has a stronger scent due to the ylang ylang oil (which doesn't seem to be listed on the ingredients tab but is on the back of my bottle).
